Roadmap

The defragmenter project planning is presented here in form of roadmap.

2011Q3 - 2011Q4 Finished.	Command Line Defragmenter. This is basically a prove-of-concept stage. We need to integrate jkDefrag.dll in our Qt-based application to be running on many drives in parallel.
2011Q4 - 2012Q2 In progress.	Simple GUI Defragmenter. We need a GUI application to present defragmentation progress in user friendly form.
2012Q2 - 2012Q4	Redesign and Optimization of jkDefrag.dll. It's clear that the DLL requires some improvements especially on analysis phase.
2012 - 2013	Defragmenter as Service. One of the project goals is to build defragmenter to be able to run in background in nearly invisible way.
2011 - Forever In progress.	Keep the Code Open. Currently the defragmenter code is available under terms of GPL2. It's intended to switch (or doublelicense it) to GPL3 in a future.
